"Come here my Wittle Bear! Who's a cutie? You're a cutie!"
The fluffy black and brown pup tilted his floppy ears back as Big-Loud's hand patted his head, it's pink hand coming down just a little too hard so that he had to blink his eyes shut every time it came down in his thick fur. He stared out at the other pups running about, and had no real desire to leave Big-Loud's authoritative side. As annoying as his human could be, she was safe. The male human, Big-Quiet, would have made him feel even more secure.

Sand kicked up behind her flying silver paws as the young dog charged across the beach. Her ears flew in the wind, and Ghost loved it all. The freedom, the exhilaration, the pure speed. She belonged to this beach, nothing else. Her lake blue eyes picked out other dogs as she sped past, but she paid them no mind. This was her time to fly.

Melody nodded her head slowly. "Oh, I come here with my owner every day." She told him, pointing to a teenage boy who was sitting on a towel.


Malik shrugged slightly and sat down. "I'm always hyper." He told her smiling.


Duke looked at Malik and chuckled softly as he smiled. "You always are dude.."

The slight release of pressure on Bear's collar signaled to him that he was no longer on the leash. He blinked up as Big-Loud, his dark eyes confused. She rarely let him wander from her, especially outside. She spoke something in her booming voice, and gestured away.
'Go away?' he thought, his confusion deepening 'Did I do something wrong?'
Big-Loud did not appear angry, though, so with caution the fluffy black pup walked in the opposite direction of her, further into the sand. He was a little intimidated by the others in the area, despite the fact that he was older, and considerably bigger. The mass of sparkling blue-gray that was the water went nearly unnoticed to his eyes. He had never experienced it before, so it was just a 'something' to him. Unimportant.
Bear pawed at the sand a bit, perplexed by its texture. This was only his second or third time to the beach, and he was still a little put off by its silky texture under his wooly paws. A strange sort of amusement took hold of him as he continued to push pawful after pawful of smooth sand back. He wondered if it ever ended, or if the entire world was a big beach underneath everything.
