Mixy and Rinky were walking through the forest, the small kittens pressed up against each other in fear of running into trouble. Mixy twitched her tail and looked down at her dainty paws, her fur was bushed out to make herself look bigger. "Rinky?" she mewed softly to her male companion. "Hmm.." grunted Rinky as he kept his eyes in front of him. "I'm scared." whimpered Mixy and she began to shake and mewed and jumped in surprise when she heard the hoot of an owl. Rinky looked at his friend and then he nuzzled her comfortingly, in truth; he was quite scared too but he was just better at keeping his feelings hidden. The kittens sighed and then kept going.
