Mike sighed, "I am not here to join a pride.." He said with a small growl, "Another male took over my father's pride and killed him. I have no home.." Then the older male was turned and walking away, the cub said goodbye and walked away as well. Mike sighed again and walked in another direction.

After some walking he stumbled on a herd of zebra, picking out a target he chased down a zebra and was soon eating. Then a band of female lions came in attempt to steal his hard earned meal, "Get away!!" He roared.

a few years later when saffie turned 2 years, she did not forgot about mike. she was still grounded from seeing him and going to the river with out another lion. so she sneaked out again... she was gloomy and sad from not seeing mike no more, so she wondered if he was at the river. she whispered " i hope i get to see mike at the river...its been soo long....im not sure if he will accepted me as a friend...... since i matured......

she quietly walked to the river's edge sitting and about to cry as she watched the fish swim by with one another, '' there is no chance ill see him." ''why do i even want to see him?'' she thought of it for awhile. ''im not sure''......

Mike, now two years older, was at the river getting a drink from the cold river. He looked up and around himself and saw a older male lion coming his way. Yes he was in the same male's territory still.

right when saffie was about to break down in tears she looked up seeing a figure in the fog, two figures, "mike?'' she wondered. she walked over there noticing it was. she walked slowly, but then seeing another male lion heading his way she picked up the pace, then faster until she bumped into mike.

Mike looked at the older lion, "I am not here to cause any trouble." He said, then stumbled to the side when Saffie bumped into him. He looked to her then the older lion.

Mike?? is that you? said saffie. anyways who is this? she snarled. she looked at the other lion saying, look i dont think he wants to fight or anything so leave him alone....ok? she glares at the other lion and snarls.

Mike nodded, "Yes it is me." He answered "I do not know who this other lion is.." He said as he looked to the other lion.
