~Chincoteage Island Herds~

What is this place, you ask? Well, it's where horses come for refugee with a range of herds on this very large island. Each and every horse is welcome, no matter what breed, size, or shape. Even a few ponies are around here too. Why don't we give the overview of each herd?

~Dusty Hooves Herd~
Lead by a mare, who wants peace among each herd. Always welcoming new faces. A bit hard to get, but very sweet and won't turn down an offer to go on a nice walk with someone. Never wants to hurt anyone, regardless of who it is. Main herd on the island.

~Moonlight Herd~
Lead by a hefty stallion, he is kind-hearted and welcomes anyone who offers peace with others. Protective of his herd and anyone in it. Only fights if neccesary. He is quite hard to get, and wants someone to love him for him, not the lead stallion. Good friends with Dusty Hooves Herd.

~Dusk Dancers Herd~
Open for leads. They live in the plains part of the island, quite dusty as well.

~Icy Winds Herd~
Live in the snowy parts of the island, used to the cold climates. Both leads open.

Personality: Alkmene is very calm and kind towards any horses. Towards lovers, she is caring and affectionate. When stressed and angry, she would not really act to be herself. She does not like loud noises and usually stomps her hoof on the ground to show that she's ticked off. She never yells, but her voice can be calm. Other horses could picture what she was saying, close their eyes but in rare cases, they could drift off to sleep.

History: When Alkmene was a foal, she was mean and cruel. Other foals could not play with her, so she had to be taught by her mother how to be kind. Years have passed, and now Alkmene has knowledge of how to show respect and kindness towards others. The horses recognizes her, and still does not want to trust her. Alkmene's quest was to find a new home. Probably find a new mate, or some friends.

History: Blizzard was born the day after Christmas, during a blizzard. His mother died when being frozen to death, and his father wandered of to find a better home and return. It has been many years, and his father never returned. He finally found a better home and made it as his. Now he is waiting to have some company..
