Shadow's long claws,scratched the floor as she walked around,she was impossible to catch sometimes and didnt like her nails clipped,she sat slowly in a corner and noticed other dogs barking around her,as curious as a cat she wondered up to the bars and sticked her muzzle through,yapping at other dogs around her,She was getting scared and cold and instant started running round her cage,dominantly and scared,She was getting more scared by the minute as her claws started hurting her,they had grown too long,shadow fell,unable to pull herself back up on her puppy feet.

A human boy ran to shadows cage with a big smile on his face. He pushed his fingers through the bars and called,"here puppy puppy puppy."

Shadow tried to drag herself to the boy but was finding it hard to get up with claws growing over her pads,She finally got up and sniffed the boys finger,she licked him and rubbed her fur against his finger,this was the first time she had fully been face to face with human.

"this one, this one!" he shouted to his mother, who rushed over. She nodded and went to do paperwork as the boy, who was named Nathan, grabbed Shadow and hugged her softly.

Shadow was happy as she cuddled into his lap,she jumped up onto him and licked his face gently,She was sliightly skittish when he made sudden movement's but soon realised it was life.
