Shira sprinted past the shelter . Her ears perked as she heard many dogs barking. She rested her paws on the window sill.

Ciny looked up at the window, seeing a dog. She barked at her. She sat below the window barking. She heard the dogs in the outsiide cages snarling and barking violently. She flattened her ears barking still.

She looked at the bichon, urging her to stop . She don't want to draw attention to herself Nd get placed inside.

SHe backe up and spun around. a boy stare at Cindy. "This one seems spunky." The mom said. The boy shook is head. "I want that one." he pointed to the pitbull at the window. The mom gulpe silently. "But the man ssiad that the dogs in the outdoor room ar vicous. let's find a nice calm lapdog or something." She walked away. "I am a lapdog!" Cindy whimpered. She curled up.

Shira cocked her head,"I'm no pitbull! I'm a American bulldog!!!" she yipped.

Ciny looked up at her. "What are you doing here? I'd reconize you, even when you're an outside dog."

(is okay . It's happens a lot with mine in Rl with mine. We took him to the dog park, but everyone grabbed their dogs and left at the sight of him:/)

Shira looked at Cindy," I usually avoid the shelter, but they caught me when I was sleeping."

"That stinks. You got put outside with the dangerous dogs?" She askked.

" yeah , but I'm not even dangerous! They thinknim a Pitt , and nobody ever adopts Pitts . The have a shorter chance of surviving than others ..."

SHe nodded. "Nobody thinks Im a lapdog. And everyone wants one. So what if Im big/" She gumbled.
