Raine looked at Shadow with sad eyes. She nuzzle him slightly, knowing he was in pain. "I'm sorry."

Shadow nuzzled her back, a single tear escaped his eye and landed on Silverrain's pelt.

She watched him as he dragged Silverrain again, and a heavy feeling sunk into her, wondering what would come of Shadow.
