This is the time to survive, more than ever. Out of all the history of Earth, this was most vicious and brutal. Do you have the skill, luck, and intelligence to survive this harsh era?

Okay, keep in mind you are a raptor, not a big, bad, t-rex. So you aren't going to be invincible, and frankly, in a fight with a t-rex, your going to DIE. So, think predator. Your main goal is to survive. Is trying to kill the predator thats bigger, meaner, and stronger than you going to help you survive? No. It isn't. Same thing with your prey. Is it really realistic that raptors are going to be able to take down a big long-necked dinosaur? Nope. So use common sense, because this is dino-realm, where death lurks in every. freaking. corner. You also have feathers. Another thing, we can't roleplay with one person on one pack and ten people on another. If that happens I'm going to have to close off one pack and whoever wants to join will be forced to join the other and I don't want to do that. The feathers, by the way, are typically on the elbows, head, and end of tail. Or at least, they will be for these guys. You can add a few additional feathers if you want to.
Plot
The two packs of deinonychus have ruled the forested area for ages upon ages. They were feared by all, but there was a problem. The two packs have despised each other since their formation, and constant squabbles are often heard in the forest. The only thing that prevents them from having a full-out war is their food source- a herd of Tenontosaurus. But there is a sickness going around, and their main food source is dying out. The leaders of the packs question whether the packs can survive together, and the two packs squabble and say that one pack must be eliminated in order for the other to survive. A solution must be found, whether it be violent or not.
The Packs
Pack of the Flaming Sky This pack lives in the presence of a Fire Horn (volcano), which the dinosaurs call Blaze Claw, after the rivers of lava that look like slashes on the earth. The soil is rich and healthy, and the forest is flooded with trees. The raptors here have learned how to weave in and out of the thick forest, and they have increased agility. However, they have a constant threat of the volcano.
Pack of the Risen Earth This pack lives in the presence of an Earth Spine (faultline), which the dinosaurs call Forest Rip, after the way it rips through the forest. This part of the forest is uneven, and the plant life is low-leveled. The raptors here have learned how to run and hunt on uneven surfaces, and they have increased balance. However, they are in a constant threat of an earthquake.

Description: Tridali is a medium-sized tawny raptor with dark brown stripes. He has a long scar that runs from his chest, across his shoulder and along his back. His feathers are a metallic black and his eyes are a striking orange.
Personality: Tridali doesn't usually seek advise from his pack, and he can be a bit bossy. However, he does only want the best of his pack, and does get very concerned if one his pack mates are injured. Since he is older he is wiser.
Other: He is the Alpha of the Pack of the Risen Earth, and Acala is his half-sister, although he doesn't know it.

Pack: Pack of the Flaming Sky
Description: Acala is a small, long-legged red-brownish raptor with red-black mackerel markings. Her feathers are black and she has bright amber eyes. Her teeth slightly stick out, and her legs are unusually long and so is her tail.
Personality: Acala hates being judged and questioned since she is younger. She is very persuasive and a surprisingly tactical leader, with unique ways to attack. If a pack mate is injured, she has a no-nonsense attitude and will urge the injured raptor into getting up. She can be distant at times, making her hard to befriend.
Other: She is the Alpha of the Pack of the Flaming Sky, and Tridali is her half-brother, although she doesn't know it.
