Smoky smiled and he groomed his fur.

I inspected the cave from where I stood. It didn't seem that big, the light of day extended almost to the end, I could see how short it was. Only a few yards. The ground looked pretty firm from where I stood and dew was dripping from the ceiling.

Was it safe to go in? I don't want to take any chances with a foal by my side, so maybe just I should go in. "I...don't know. I think I'm gonna go in, but you wait here. You never know what might happen and I don't need you getting hurt. If it's safe, I'll tell you you can come in."

Rose pouted for a moment but figured it be best to not argue "Be careful" she caled

I saw she was a little bit upset, but no chances should be taken. Nodding at her, I slowly stepped in.

A few feet in, and I was a little worried. It was bigger than I thought, for there were tunnels that I couldn't see before. The ground wasn't as firm as I thought either, it felt as though I was walking on soft soil and my hooves were sinking in. But it wasn't anything to worry about.

Should I go through the tunnels? I want to, but I can't leave Rose out on her own. "It's fine. There's some tunnels we can look through." If anything bad were to happen, I would make sure she got out first. I was confident she would be okay.

Rose's ears pirkced up as she walked into the cave. She blinkd noticing a few bats hanging down from the ceiling sleeping harmlessy. "Where are you?" she called trying to avoid sinking into the cavefloor.

I looked around, noticing how much darker it had gotten. "Over here, follow me voice. When you find me bite my tail and I'll lead the way."

Something was eerie about this cave.

Rose hesitatd following the stallion's voice, she squeaked as she bumped into somethin warm and furry "Uhm..Founnd youu?"

I felt her bump into me and that signaled me to move forward into a tunnel. "We're going into a tunnel now," I announce to her so she's aware.

She nodded and gently held onto his tail, "I can't see anything" she mumbled looking around the cave.
