Memory realized that Faron wouldn't be able to outrun them and that the wolves behind them were gaining. "Yes," he says skidding to a stop and standing so he was blocking Faron. Not as much as Faron and the other wolves couldn't see each other but enough that if something were to happen he could block an attack. He considered trying to carry her but he didn't think he would be strong enough to keep up a pace with extra weight plus she would probably be against that. Though if push came to shove that would be his next option. Rising, he stretched out to his full height and brought his fur up with his ears straight back. Finally, he didn't have to crouch down. At full height he was almost as tall as Maverick and with his fur up he was the same height. Hopefully Faron would know how to interact with them because he sure didn't.

Maverick nodded his head at Kiya when she claimed them to be members of a pack. ''Alright, let's catch them then.''he said slyly, bounding after the fae until their paces were in sync.When Kiya and Maverick reached the two other canines, Maverick did a quick analyze to see what strangers he was meeting up with; and he assumed the strangers were doing the same for them. The brute, as he could tell, was a little bit shorter than he was but still perfect able to be just as ferocious. Behind him, he could see a smaller wolf- fae maybe and his head turned to the side to get a better glance. Blinking, Maverick regained his gaze on to the two as a whole and silently sat down while he watched how Kiya would interact with the wolves. Surely this must of been confusing, but Maverick had a plan- that or he would just wing it.

Kiya slowly slowed down till she was only a couple of feet away, looking at the pack members sitting down. Her muscles froze as she took a step back..(sorry major WB,had first day of school today)

I pinned my ears back as they approached, lifting my lip slightly, but trying to keep my fur to lie flat. After seeing them closer, i could tell that they could easily overpower me, perhaps even Memory. Though i was barely old enough to hunt, I stood straight, lifting my tail assertively. "This is Mjollnir territory." I said, my voice low and meeting their gaze. "What business do you have here?" They stank of loner-scent, and i had to try hard not to wrinkle my nose. Beside me, Memory stood tensely and i could see his agitation in his stance and how his hackles lifted ever so slightly.

Kiya jumped back, her ears down as fear flaked through her."Just seeing what was listening to us and watching us." She said, fear lightly lacing her voice.

Maverick gazed at Kiya and was quite disappointed in how she presented herself. She seemed fearful and unsure and it bugged him she was acting so sheepishly and submissive. Unlike her, he wouldn't show submission or be hesitant. Lifting his lips and baring teeth, he stood up from his sitting stance and trailed towards the two strangers with a snarl after the younger fae spoke up. This is exactly what he was looking for: a chance to be bothersome. ''I know fully where I am, and so does she. We don't have business technically, but we're just exploring the place and such.'' Maverick spoke quite calmly and carelessly. He shook his dark coat and eyed the brute's gaze, taunting the other male. ''So what are you going to do. Fight me? Just get it over with if you want, not like I would care.'' Maverick shrugged and spun around on his hind paws, retracing his steps back to Kiya; his tail was high in the air and his walk was rather low to the ground, as if he were just strolling around and not arguing with some pack members like so.

Kiya watched Maverick, her ears down, as she hated that she was being a coward. Quietly sighing, she stood, following behind him. Her ears perked up for any move the packed members made.(sorry WB)

Memory spared a single glance at Faron as she spoke before latching his eyes onto the brute. His lip raised and a low growl came out. "Is that what your looking for? A fight?" He asks. In all honesty, he was a horrible fighter and preferred his Fleeing option. Memory positioned himself to be able to grab Faron and run if the brute attacked. The fae seemed to be scared so he didnt view her as a threat but kept an eye otn her.

I sneered at the brute. "Exploring the place and such," I growled, my hackles raising despite my attempts to get my pelt to lay flat. "Ha! you must truly be a stranger to this land if you feel you have the right to 'explore and such.' Unless you have business to share with the pack that lives here, I think your best option would be to leave this place. I know for a fact that the alphas do not like those who creep on our lands and steal our prey. And they are fearsome enemies to have." I spoke confidently but inside my chest clenched in fear. The brute before us was larger than Memory, and much larger than I, a pup. Still, I felt that it was my duty to protect my pack and our territory. Memory stood at my side and i twitched my tail as he stepped forward. He relaxed as the wolves retreated a fair distance but I didn't let my gaze leave the two wolves. The female i felt no more than derision and the male a strong dislike. "Now tell me, what do you have to say that keeps me from summoning my pack to me at this very moment to chase you from this land to the edge of the valley?" I pricked my ears forward, my eyes boring holes into the backs of the loners' pelts.

Kiya narrowed her eyes at the two pack wolves. "And here I thought pack members were nice to outsiders, that were exploring areas, and getting use to them. Where's the hurt in that?" She snapped, thumping her tail on the ground." None."
