The pup smiled at looked at him, she stopped and backed up, waiting for him to finish, she happly hummed

He looked around and closed his eyes for a moment, letting the sound of the nearby brook calm him. The stream was mostly covered bu a sheet of ice but in places, the water lapped at icicles dangling at the banks, twinkling as the light hit them. He shook his head, realizing he was daydreaming again. With that, he turned around and disappeared into the shrubbery, his tawny grey coat blending into the shadows. He soon made his way back to camp and noticed the newer addition to the pack, Rhea, lying down nearby. He adjusted his path and trotted over to say hello.

Rhea's ears perked as the presence of another wolf emerging from the thicket caught her eye. He appeared to be padding near her. She detected the new familiar scent from him, as a pack mate. She flicked her tail and waited until he approached her.

"It's rhea, right?" He looked at the fae questioningly. He knew she had recently joined the pack as a loner but was glad that she had. As a hunter, he could appreciate a fast and intelligent pack mate."I'm Kori." He dipped his head politely.

She ran next to the pup. She was going to keep an eye on her. She wanted this pup to be comfortable in the new pack.

Rhea smiled, not being used to this sort of respect as he dipped his head. She nodded, adding, "You got it." She flicked an ear. "Kori...nice to meet you," she said, lingering on his name. She had never heard of a name like that before, but she already took a liking to it. She dipped her head in return.

He shuffled his paws in the dirt. He didn't usually speak to anyone and he felt awkward talking to the pretty fae. "Wanna go hunting?" Bree and the betas were out patrolling and it would Venice to have fresh prey for them when they got back.

He couldn't help but chuckle when he saw Adolpha run next to the pup. He already knew she would be a great mother and he was also glad that they had found Lilac.

Adolpha
She thought that with enough comfortable positions, the pup would love the place. They finally arrived at camp. Adolpha could see the moon glinting out from behind the mountains. She walked into the cave and curled up into a semi-circle.

"Sure," she said, getting up. She flicked her tail a few times, ridding her fur from any dirt that had accumulated. "I'm sure you know the best hunting areas, no?" she suggested, giving him a smile. She'd have to get used to this place eventually, and hunting with someone who knew the land well would be a good start. Rhea nodded her head towards the forest, motioning for him to lead, and letting him know that she would follow.
