Adam looked at Kelly. "You're awake now, right?" he said quietly. "You should go check on the wild mare and filly"

Zelda reared up and fell at the sudden loose grasp. She had a rope around her neck with a long rope, tangling in her hooves. It could be very dangerous.

Summer whinnied loudly and snorted when her mother was nearby.

Jack looked at may and said," long story short that foal is dieing.." and nodded to the foal behind him.

Kelly moved away from him and shook her head unsure of what was going on."what foal?" she asked. Blood soaked the right side of her shirt and dampened her hair. She reached up to feel it and looked down at her hand confused as it was covered in blood to.

Adam looked at Kelly, "You're hurt. It's the wild mare's foal. Let's get your inside" He positioned Kelly on his lap and rolled her inside. He put her on the couch and lay her down and put a lukewarm damp towel on her forehead.

Zelda neighed to her filly.

Summer stood up, feeling better. Stupid man. She would never forgive him.

Kelly was so confused, she didnt even know this man. Why was he helping her? She did as he said seeing it was to her benefit and when she was laying there with the towel on her forehead she said," Who are you?"
