{yeah, Chris was hit in the head by a horse's hoof. Chris had found Jack in the meadow unconscious after a wild horse roundup and she brought him back. Zelda, a wild mare, charged through the ranch property and kicked Chris's head by accident. Jack accepted Chris to work at the barn as a stablehand and sent her to find Ellie. He asked whether she was ok because she bumped into a horse}
