Voltaire hesitated but continued anyway, knowing he had to do it or she might leave. He flicks his tail at her, almost flirting but not really. "I wanted you to be my lead mare..." Volt groomed her shoulder in return, being sure not to nip to hard. He then took a few steps backwards, turning his head a little to check on Phantom, but returning it when all was clear. The steady noise of the rushing waters over the rocks seemed to calm him a little, but not much. He flicks his tail briskly, flys nipping as his flanks. "So what do you say...?"

Phantom sighed. She heard what Volt said. "I um actually I need to um leave..." She took a cautious step back.

When she heard Phantom and scented her she turned round to the mare, her smile fell as she grew confused but then realisation sunk in and she understood. "If that's your decision then no one will stop you" she said to Phantom.

Cloud thought and thought for ages thinking of what to do, He would either leave with his two mares or by himself... "umm guys, guys... Ginger! Pie... umm...i... am... i... Oh my god..." He tried and tired but couldn't say it as he watched the two mares just stare at him... so he quickly spoke almost not being understood... "I have to go... and you cant come..." Cloud stuck his head down and sighed...

"What!? your leaving! but we just got here!!!" Ginger snorted and frowned in shock as the father of her unborn foal decided to leave... "And i know you want nothing.... you want nothing to do with this foal, but it will be born in a few or so days...? Why! you helped me free and you want to leave... PIE DO SOMTHING!!!"

Pie was out with the pixes but was nipped by Ginger "oh... what? oh yeah... Cloud... you cant leave us know... you just cant... and well yeah what she said... we only just found a herd that is welcoming... but..."

Cloud looked at Gingerr and then at Pie "but what?

Pie sighed..."Never mind" She looked at Cloud and he asked again... "Oh my god!!! fine... fine, you wanna leave! then GET OUT OF HERE!!!"

"PIE!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!... acutally! Your right Pie... GET OUT!!!" Ginger yelled with a small tear drop falling from her eye not caring about him... but the face that she would have to tell her foal what he did unless she could find a stallion who could pretend... but whats worse... her foal would live with either no father... or a great big lie.

Cloud galloped off into the forrest angry with himself for this, but knew something was wrong with him

Argene kept the herd going for a long while. The fire faded away until it was a distant memory and they were just galloping through fields and trees for the freedom of it. When the herd had reached the top of a sloping, grassy hill, she slowed down and stopped, her grey body drenched in sweat and her sides heaving in exhaustion. They could see an incredibly long distance from the top of this hill, and the small speck of smoke that was the fire cowered on the horizon. "We're safe here," she huffed. Now all we have to do is wait and hope that Echo finds Jayde and gets here safely...
