Nova broke out into a gallop, throwing herself into the wind and the freedom. The mare came upon a crest of a hill and looked back at the now distant herd. She smiled when a black stallion charged into her. They landed in a big heap and Nova was about to call for help when she recognised him and a sudden thought came flooding back, The mare looked at her young black foal lovingly as her mate looked on proudly. Nova gasped, "Twilight?"


Twilight crashed into the mare, "I'm sorry..." he looked at the ground when she suddenly knew his name. Returning the mare's gaze he broke out into a smile, "Mum?! Mum!" he neighed happily. Suddenly, as a lasso was roped round Nova's neck and she whined for help, Twilight remembered he was running from the humans. They dragged her backwards and Twilight tried to free her, "HELP! PLEASE HELPP!" he neighed loudly, hoping a nearby herd would hear...
