His ears immediately shot up, as he heard Rylan's voice. His gaze focused on the fae, a warm look forming in his gaze, but it quickly vanished. He listened, and stood up, looking somewhat tense. "Was it in our territory?" He asked, noticing the uneasiness in her gaze, making him wonder what went on with the fae and the unknown brute. "Or was he in another pack's territory?" He added, wanting to be sure.
The brute had a thoughtful look on his face, he didn't appear to be panicked. Though a bit of his fur began to prickle along his shoulders and neck. He knew that somehow this loner managed to get under Rylan's fur. Part of Mako wanted to go and confront the mysterious brute, but he remained calm, though his muscles were tense. His ears flicked a few times, as a warm breeze hit him, ruffling his fur. His eyes shone rather brightly, his ears perked.

He glanced around at the three, his ears perked. He glanced at Stellar, making eye contact with the fae for a slight moment. His tail wagged a little, a friendly look in his sea greenish blue eyes, watching the fae for a moment longer, as she stuck her paws in the water. His eyes were bright, and he didn't hesitate, before he too stuck his paws in the water. He let out a small, peaceful sigh. He loved water. Some wolves didn't, which he didn't understand. He would gladly jump in, but that wasn't what they were doing at the moment. His gaze rested on the surface of the water, his ears perked. His eyes followed a flash of movement, a silver fish, the sun reflecting off of it's scales. He froze, waiting, as it swam around, slowly coming his way. He suddenly lunged forward, head in the water, and just managed to sink his teeth into the fish's tail. He quickly pulled it up, and swung it onto the river bank, then quickly finished it off with a bite to it's neck. He licked his lips, satisfied with his catch, especially since he nearly didn't get it. He came out of the water, shaking his pelt, tiny water droplets flung into the air, then plummeting to the ground. He glanced around, hoping he hadn't gotten anyone wet. He looked at the others, wondering whether fish were even prey that the pack ate, or if they just stuck to land prey for food. He nudged it towards the others with his nose, inviting someone to take a bite if they wish; he was considering catching another.
How he had learned to fish, he couldn't remember. Perhaps his parents had taught him when he was young. Or maybe the skill was just... passed down. He shrugged the thoughts away, and looked back to the river, a curious look in his brilliantly colored eyes.
{{ Sorry, bit of WB with Mako.
