Obiki's ears flipped back and he pulled a somewhat saddened expression as the pup was moved away into their den. He stood up straight and shook his head at Kuro, who was looking at him quizically. "It's okay." He said.

Shadow put the wriggling pup down and nudged him into the back corner where he wouldn't be able to tell where the light was and hopefully stay. She trotted back out and grabbed Starblaze, putting her next to her brother. Then took the other two and put them back in the den. She laid down with her pups and they nursed more. Wow, these pups eat a lot she thought to herself.

Tay looked to Gear. "You're Alpha's ran off- I should be fine. Besides, that other fae you had been with doesn't seem to have noticed me. A wolf gave birth- four pups." He turned his head to the field, hoping that Gear would follow and see the group of wolves. He felt... empty. His expression was the same, blank and empty.

Kuro was about to make a remark about the fact the wolf was named after her old pack but didn't have time to, as Shadow stood and left. Kuro's ears flattened. 'rude... much?' She watched as Shadow moved away and then looked back at Obiki then she noticed something... She was only carrying one pup... Kuro carefully leaned down and lifted the dark fae in her mouth. She followed, slowly, behind Shadow, carrying Smoke between her jaws. She motioned for Obiki to take the other but had a strange feeling that he wouldn't know how. Kuro sped up again, to continue following.

Shadow looked at Kuro as she came in with her pup, she resisted the urge to put her ears back, but let Kuro put her pup down. Shadow sat next to her pups who crawled around, searching for their milk. "Hoping to be part of the family?" Shadow asked quietly, trying to put the least amount of emotion possible into her voice.

Gear cocked her head to the side, but followed anyway. "Pups?" She whisperedf uder her breath. She noticed that Tay looked a bit down, but thought not to mention it. It was probably none of her business anyway.

Obiki gulped and looked down at the pup, who wriggled a bit on the ground before making a small squeaking sound. He slouched over and carefully lifted the pup off the ground, lifting his lips so he wouldn't squick it into his teeth. Flustered, he followed Kuro into the den. When he arrived inside he placed the pup on the floor with his mother, avoiding answering the question pr and esented to himKuro.

Kuro followed Shadow, and when she finally reached the den she carefully placed Smoke down next to her mother, smiling at the black fae for a moment, before lifting her head and staring at Shadow. "What's that supposed to mean?" Her voice was quiet, but aggressive, as to not scare the pups. Her ears flicked back and she stepped back a little, to give herself some room.

"Nothing" Shadow lied "but you certainly seem to be taking an interest in my pups." she said as he laid down next to her pups and began licking them. Despite the fact that she had been born with close to no maternal instinct. She looked up at her former Alpha. Wondering where her mate was.

Obiki looked at the mother and frowned. "I was only helping." He grunted in a half-hearted manner. He flicked his head to the side and looked down at his feet, mumbling something unaudiable under his breath.

She laughed "Not you Obiki" she smiled at him. "You're fine" she says with a glance at Kuro. Her pups wriggle around on the ground.

Kuro's ears stayed back. "I like pups..." She said, no tone to her voice. Her eyes moved down off of Shadow and followed Smoke instead. She stayed silent after that, waiting for someone else to say something. She tried to understand what Obiki was muttering, but she didn't seem to make words out of it. She wagged her tail slightly, letting it brush against Obiki's.
