Feather nodded and followed Tripp happily.

"Lier... I should warn you... you're going to like this even less." With no warning she lunged at him, her small, lithe body quick as a gazelle and graceful as a cat. Sheslammed into him with surprising force in her small body.

Tyler growled and looked up at her. " what the hell do you think youre..." he cut of as he met her eyes. For the first time he realised how beutifull she was.

"If you're going to make it in this Pack, you'll have to do better than that." She scoffed, pinning him down with a confident smile.

Tyler shook his head slightly and pushed her of and stood up. " Just show me the territory will you " he said, his voice a tiny bit nicer then before. Whatever had just happened he was going to forget about it.

Juliet grinned faintly and shrugged, turning and padding away. "Fine, let's head out then. just remember... the females in this pack don't just sit around and let the guys fight for us." She paused to cast a sultry smile over her shoulder. "We know how to hold our own in any situation."

Tyler followed. " uh huh " he said sacastically.

"Anyway, this is our Eastern most border." she said, padding along the invisible line. "The dead tree there is one of the markers, but the border itself stretches all the way to just before the watering hole." She explained.

"New recruits, Juliet darling? Well, this'll just make it all the more fun, hmm?" A cackling voice said behind them. Juliet spun, ears flattening, hackles rising, and bared her teeth in a low snarl. In that moment she looked very much like her mother, regal, in charge, and very deadly. She glared at the trio of Hyenas who watched the pair with hunger glinting in their half-crazed eyes.
"What do you want, Julian?" She growled at the leader, taking a pace forward until she was nose to nose with the leader of the three.
Julian grinned dangerously, seeming unconcerned with her aggressive posture. "A snack... you two will do nicely, right boys?" He glanced at his companions, then jerked back with a hiss when Juliet snapped at him.
"You can try any number of times, Julian. You and your pack of thieves will never be a match for the East Riverside Pack." She growled.

Yyler turned around and growled deeply at the hyenas. He showed his teeth and snapped in the air. Suddenly he felt very protective of Juliet and stood infront of her, and made himself big.

Julian snickered, eyes lighting up with amusement as his two followers drew closer. "Since when does little Juliet need protecting, hmm?"

Juliet snarled, eyes flashing with anger. "I can fight my own battles, Julian. That notch in your ear proves as much." She nodded to the deep V in his left air and he growled angrily at the memory.
