Something about the dog made me feel like he wasn't tricking me, almost as if he could be trusted. I could tell he was honest, but I can't risk being in this situation any longer. I quickly grabbed the hamburger that was sitting between us and gobbled it down. It was the most I had to eat all week. "You have my thanks. I could really learn from a dog like you-- I'm quite new at this, if you couldn't already tell." I stated, crawling out from under the car.

Baron laughed again as she gobbled the burger hungrily, backing up as she got out of the car. "Not a problem. You're doing pretty good for a first timer" he said with a chuckle. "What's your name, sweet cheeks? I'm Baron" the brute said, bowing a bit. He let himself relax, letting out a long yawn.

Violet almost giggled at Baron as he bowed to her. "Nice to meet you Baron, my name is Violet." She said her name softly, wishing she had a more unique name like the fancy dogs with creative owners. She wondered if this was a beginning of an alliance, or even a friendship. It was too soon to tell of course, and getting close to a dog you don't know can end very badly. Violet made sure to keep distance between the two, fearing something may still happen.

Boudreaux
He gave a slight growl,more out of habit than anything,as he came upon two more dogs,a brute and a fae it seemed,but he did not bother with pleasantries,just walking around them and giving a respectful bow of his massive red/gold head as he passed by on his way to nowhere.He smelled something,something very faint but getting stronger.The most hated person here,distinguishable by the s,ell of dozens of dogs on his grey clothes.He could hear the faint clink of the pole as the dog catcher ventured closer.He looked back at the two others and decided to risk being seen and going back to tell.He nudged the brute roughly,"Hide,take her with you" he said hurridly.

"What a lovely-" Baron began but was interrupted by Boudreaux. He was confused, looking around until he caught scent of the dog catcher. Blinking a few times, he nudged the female dog. "Come on Violet" he rushed her, as if he knew her. "Thank you sir, why don't you follow us before we get caught?" he called back to the brute, quickly running toward the alleyways.

He shook his head,"Y'all go on"he said in a thick southern accent,weird since he had never really been down that way except once,"I'll distract him for a bit,play a little game."He looked at them once and then trotted to the dog catcher, mischief shining in his eyes.He saw the catcher smirk and say something in audible before he used a rope to try and lasso him,throwing it right at his head.Boudreaux side stepped and gave a loud Woomph,starting to circle the man with prance like steps.

Xylia

Xylia roamed the empty passage ways of deep lighting, searching for one trash can to dive for goodies. "guh, when is this gonna end!" she groaned and began to sniff the cold ground, looking around and finally sniffing out a single trash can stashed in the middle of two tall standing buildings. "yum, my favorite." she chuckled as she found some leftover meat.

Violet hesitantly started walking when Baron nudged her. Who's that dog? She thought, her heart quickening as she heard their alert voices. "What is it? What's wrong?" She asked Baron frantically, looking around the area.

"he'll be alright" Baron told the female with a chuckle. "He's a strong dog". Baron quickly moved forward. "If you need a place to crash, come with me. Otherwise, good bye sweet cheeks" Baron said with a wink, continuing to walk deeper in the alleyway.

Boudreaux
He continued to tirelessly taunt the catcher,a goofy lopside grin letting his pink slobbery tongue fall out of his mouth.He gave another deep woomph and started to approach him and then back up,prancing and jumping up onto his hind legs,doing a dance that his man used to love.He wished his boy would come back,wished for it every day.Sometimes he thought he heard his voice,brief and fleeting.He landed heavily and threw his head up and gave a woof and ran away,tired of the game for now.He heard the man following,but just continued to turn down every alley.
