Flicka snorted and heard her colt snort. She trotted in and saw him laying down, with a bandage wrapped around his leg. She gasped and rushed to the stall, banging on it to get in.

Rose saw how she was acting and slowly walked over. "Easy flicka. Easy your going to scare him. If you move I'll open it for you," She said standing back. She couldn't get to the door unless Flicka moved.

April looked away when Flicka came in, "I'm sorry please don't be mad," She whispered. She walked off to the meadow it's gate still open. She put her self in it and started grazing slowly on the far side.
