As Ace stared coldly at the outsider, Chase felt like he may have overstepped the boundries between the prides but he couldn't help the feeling of helping others. He smiled slightly towards Ace's response giving a little nod in acknowledgment towards the brute " I'll do what I can despite my state " he said then the image of his leader popped into his head, what would Jakura think? He would most likey banish Chase for helping Ace and the others. But he shrugged it off " ready when you are " he added simply with a slight smirk.

I nod towards Chase, then looking up at Luna, " We have another volunteer. " I say, seeing the other lions stare at Chase with an uneasy gaze. I glare at my pridemates with a stare that said, He's actually helping. They look away and shuffle slightly.

I hear Ace's voice and I turn my head, seeing him sitting next to the outsider. I stiffen slightly before I smile, " We thank you for your help. " I say, looking upon the pride once more, " I wish for two more volunteers only.

Earlier, I had walked out of camp, and now, I was sitting on the border of my home territory and the Sandmane's. I stare at the savannah that waited before me. I take a deep breath and stand up, " I've made my choice. " I say as I step over the boundary. When I was younger, I had gotten injured. The lions that saved me were not from my pride, but from my enemy's camp, the Sandmane. They had helped to pack up my wounds and treated me kindly, even though I was an enemy. I felt more a home there then at my actual home. I have made either a life changing choice, or the worst mistake of my life.

Flare nodded her head and raised her tail as lions volunteered around her. "I can lead the party, which leaves one more spot," she dipped her head to Luna, looked around, waiting, glanced back to give a head count to her group and then back again to see if anyone had volunteered.

After some walking, I begin to near the camp. I see that all the lions of the pride had gathered under a large rock, like a meeting place. I begin to think that it may not be the best time to reveal myself, but it was soon after that I was found out.

As we wait for one more volunteer, an scent that was faintly familiar catches my attention. I whip around and the scent becomes stronger. I stand up and begin to approach the source, growling lowly, What is this scent? Why is it so familiar? I think to myself as I reach the camp's entrance, seeing the lioness, " Eve? " I call out, faintly recognizing her.

I notice Ace stand up suddenly and head towards the entrance. I have the urge to follow him, so, I do. When I reach his side, I look at him, " What's up, Ace? " Right after I had spoken, Ace muttered a name, " Eve? " My eyes widen slightly as I turn my head, seeing the lioness my pride had help when I was younger. It has been about two years, but the scent was definitely the same, " Really? " I say, staring at the lioness.

I freeze when I see the lions in the entrance. Their scent were familiar, and they definitely seemed to know me, Wait a minute! I look at them, " Ace? Kara? Is that you? " I ask.

Sheera sat away from the others, being alone was something she was good at and she enjoyed the peace and quiet. From the distance she heard the other pride mates chatting about volunteering to find Jester. As she slid down onto her belly, a breeze waved through her fur carrying a familiar scent, Sheera's eyes darted around in search for the lioness '' is she mad coming here '' she thought to herself aloud. She pushed herself back onto her paws and walked towards the others.

Quake sighed as he watched Kara volunteer for the search party hmp, now i understand why Flare left our little band of outlaws, she traded a life of fights, pain and the lifestyle of murders for this, freedom and love he sighed as he thought as he stood up and walked over towards Flare '' can i have a word, sister? '' he questioned before the scent of an unknown lion caught his attention.

Jakura left Alestor at the boarder and carried on towards the boarder between Sandmane and Shadow pride the scent of blood, gunpowder, Ace, Chase and Jester filled the air '' ah, carnage rises '' he sighed as he took a deep breath and soon caught Eve's scent. And at that moment he knew what she had done, the path she had now choose '' you'd rather become part of them? Then so be it, you'll suffer like they will '' he said with a growl before erupting into a loud, powerful roar warning Eve that she wont be accepted as a member of his pride from now and that she will be treated like those she wished to join.

I was about to speak when I heard Jakura. I squeal softly and flinch slightly, my knees weakening. I hadn't had a decent meal in a few days, due to the hunters' scent. It had made the pride not want to go out to hunt. I look at the lions, then caught the scent of Sheera, I can't go back now, Jakura wouldn't hesitate to kill me... I think as I give Sheera a look that said, I need to talk.

Sheera looked up as the roar echoed through that pride lands, a soft sigh escaped the healer as she drew her gaze back to Eve. Sheera recognized Eve's look on her face and nodded before glancing at her pridemates then to Eve once more '' you look thin love,come rest in my den while i check you over '' she said before asking a young male to find some fresh kill for Eve.

I smile slightly as I dip my head in thanks. I creep towards the other lions, my tail tucked between my legs, as I drew closer. I brush past the lioness who I thought was Kara and sure enough, it was her. I quickly walk up to Sheera, and then my gaze looks up at Luna, Is she the alpha female now? And where's Jester? so many thoughts were running through my head as I walk with Sheera. Mom, I'm sorry, but I just can't stay with the Shadow pride. I will join this pride, or become a loner trying.

" What's all the commotion? " I ask before seeing Eve. She was thin, very thin, as she walked past, Uh oh, why is she so thin? She wasn't that thin when we helped her before... then something caught my attention, Why is she even here? Shouldn't she be with her pride? I shake my head slightly as I look back to my pride, " We just need one more volunteer. " I say clearly.

Sheera turned and walked along side Eve " things have changed drastically since your last visit, Luna has become Jesters own and in turn she has become out alpha female, the male himself is no where to be seen... And due to the hunters, we've suffered casualties and a fatality " she said before looking up towards Luna " Thank goodness for Luna though, she's holding us together " she added as they walked almost at the den

My eyes widen slightly when Sheera spoke, So I was right, she is alpha female... " I sorry for your loses, where is Jester? " I ask, somewhat afraid to now the answer. Luna's incredible, I can't believe she has held everything together this long. Just then, the faint scent of blood catches my attention, and its coming from Sheera's den.
