I'm combined all of my lions posts into one paragraph. ))

Luna bit her lip as she smiles at Savannah, holding back the urge to cry. She tap her nose against her head when others entered the den. Luna takes a step back as Ace walks forward, looking at Savannah, " Your welcome, Savannah, I just wish it didn't have to end this way. " he says softly with a little smile for his goodbye. Ace also tap his nose against her head, smiling and giving her a friendly lick behind the ear. He sits back as Savannah turns to Kara, tears streaming down her face. She laughs briefly when she talks about getting each other in trouble, thinking back. When she reaches out her, Kara's paw was there to meet it. She smiles softly at Savannah, " You were the closest thing I had to a sister, and you'll always be that. I love you and I'll never forget you. " Kara says softly, watching Savannah smile slightly. When her head falls gently to the ground, the three were emerged in grief. Especially Kara. Kara immediately rests her head onto of Savannah's and cries, shaking slightly. Luna and Ace look at each other from across the den, but both look down in distress. One by one, the lions left the den slowly, gradually. Luna was the last to leave, but Kara refused to move until nightfall.

Sheera move to the rear of her den to allow Kara some room, shortly after the death of the young lioness the healer padded back over to the body, Kara and Luna " we will wait until jester returns then carry out a cerimony and say our goodbyes for one final time " she said softly then looked over at Kara " you can stay with her as long as you see fit " she added before looking at Kara's mother, giving a small nod and indicating that she wanted to talk with the alpha lion

Leaf woke up shortly, wondering what had happened. Leaf heaved up to her paws and padded out. Maybe a little walk should do, she thought.

Kara.
The only response I gave was a flick of my tail. The tears the slipped down my face had dampened Savannah's lifeless body. I lay my body next to hers and slowly absorb whatever body heat she had left. There was a calming feeling when I breathe Savannah's scent, and I didn't want that to go.

Luna.
I nod to Sheera and glance over at my daughter before walking out. My legs felt heavier as I walk, sitting a ways away from the den, " You wanted to speak to me, Sheera? " I ask softly, no real emotion could be detected from my voice.

Leaf looked around, she was a little new, she thought. She paced around the pride and stopped. She flicked her tail and looked at the other lions. The pride was huge, she thought. She knew she wouldn't exactly fit in, but she hoped to become trustworthy to the pride. Leaf sat down. What now...? She thought. "At least someone to talk to to..." she murmured under her breath. I watched the pride again. She knew what had happened. Although she doesn't know the lion, she wished she could at least meet her. She flattened her ears and watched. She closed her eyes and every minute she blinked them open and watched. She tucked her face into her paws. She sighed and slept a little more...

Kara.
I was starting to get later in the day, and I had fallen asleep next to Savannah. My face was still damp when I woke up. It was late in the afternoon, real late. The sun was just above the horizon. I sit up slowly as I stare down at Savannah's lifeless body, frowning. I bend down and tug playfully at her ear, then licking behind it kindly, " Goodbye, Savannah. " I say softly as I stand up. I drag myself out of the den and over to the tree where I last saw Quake. I look around before sighing, laying down where he had laid earlier that day.

Sheera looked at Luna and sighed " it's Jester, I heard from Savannah before she passed... Luna, I think Jesters in danger " she said with a worried tone remaining standing he pawed the ground a little with distress " she mentioned him ordering the young greyish lion to protect her until Ace could move her before diving into the ambush... Savannah mentioned hearing three blasts from their weapons before hearing the low rumble from their truck then she only remembers waking up in my den and the rest was filled in to her " Sheera added knowing that she couldn't keep such information to herself.

Quake had moved away from the lions and onto another patch of grass until he saw Kara. And without a seconds thought he had began walking over to her " how you feeling?" He asked as he sat down beside her.

I look up at Quake with a damp face and red eyes, but also with a smile, " I'm not quite sure... " I say softly before looking back down, " I feel like it's a dream, or, a nightmare. That I'm just gonna wake up any minute now and see Savannah sitting next to me, smiling. " I say as I rest my head on my paws, " I don't know what to do... And know my mom is all flustered about Jester. " I say, seeing her talking to Sheera.

I stare at her with disbelief, but partial depression, " What should we do, should we talk to Ace? " I ask worriedly, obviously flustered.

Quake sighed softly before placing his paw on her shoulder " chin up lass, you'll see her again and for as long as you keep her memories, she's still here with you... In here " he said as he removed his paw from her and pointed to were the heart was. " yes it will hurt for days, weeks maybe but in time your cracks will heal and your pain will seem like a distant memory "

Sheera shook her head " I am unsure of what to do, Jester usually dealt with all these problems " she replied and scanned the land for Ace " maybe it's for the best if we do ask Ace that way we can get more details of the incident "

I blush lightly as he touches my shoulder, looking up at him. I smile up at him with a sniffle, " You're right, " I pause as I wipe my cheek with my paw, " I'll see her again. " I say softly with a smile. Quake wasn't as bad as he made himself out to be.
