Jaz flashed a sweet smile to Ry before turning back to the cubs. It was her duty to take care of them, so unfortunetly she couldn't spend all her time talking to Ry.
"HI, Kaia, I'm Jazzy. I get to take care of you and Savanna and Jato, isn't that fun?" she said in her sugary voice. "You must be new to our pride."

Flare layed down in camp with a tired huff. Being agile and not strong was a blessing and a bitter curse. She blinked a couple times, refocusing her gaze on the alpha, and stared, somewhat dreamily. She slapped herself and curled her lip, rubbing the spot where she slapped herself. "Dont..moon.." she got up and leaped swiftly to a rock on the side of the camp, where the sun was beating down. She layed on her side, her flank going up and down gracefully, her pelt literally glimmering, and shimmering in the sun. She closed her eyes, because the sun was hitting them directly. She hoped nobody would disturb her.

"Well, welcome!" Jaz said. Now, she had to play this carefully. It was important to know whether the cub's mother had come with her, but if she said the wrong thing she could upset the little lioness. "Now, did you find your way across the savannah all by yourself?" she asked. If the answer was yes, she could play it off on how brave the cub was. If no, she'd get to meet Kaia's mother.

"Alright, last question before we head on down to the swimming hole, I promise. What's your mom's name, sweetie?"

Savanna looked up at Jaz before getting off Kaia and sitting down beside the other cub

Ry stayed behind Jaz, not sure what to do around cubs. He usually just lost his temper with Em and scared them away.
