"I dont know. He cant be leader if he doesnt find a mate." Mara says. "But, most likely, he will be leader."

He cocked his head, "But you don't have a mate, do you?"

Mara looks at him. "Well, when your the only one left in your pride, you sorta have no choice."

"I'm sorry, i didn't know, just with Nico, i thought..." He shrugged, embarrassed. But pleased she didn't have a mate.

Mara purrs. "It's fine." she goes over and sits next to him, watching Nico eat a second zebra leg.

Cairo nuzzled her neck without realizing it, he pulled away embarrassed. "Sorry...."

Mara smiles, and purrs. "It's fine." she says, leaning slightly against him.

Cairo smiled quickly and licked her ear. He sat watching Nico tear through the leg happily., He laughed as the cub put away more than his size. "I think that's enough budd, you'll throw up if you carry on like that."
