Bryne came out of the hole a few moments later and looked up at Hikaru. "I didn't do anything," She said with a soft smile, leaning down to lick Bryne on the top of the head.

Echo darted down the hill and ran into a forest. She twisted and turned, making her hard to follow. When she felt it was safe she rolled in some mud hiding her scent. She munched on the tapar

Hikaru looked at Fang. "Thank you for listening to me. I just wanted to let you know she was around here so no one else had to go through what I went through," She said, standing up.

Hikaru went out side with Bryne trailing behind her and she sat down in the sun, letting Bryne nurse.

Fang got up and walked to a high rock. He climbed up and lay down gazing at the sky

Deric had lost it. He growled in frustration, shredding the short grass with his claws. "When am I EVER going to get any food?!" He shreiked in pure hunger.

Echo's ears flickered when she heard the sabre that had been chasing her before. She chuckled at him but she was far away from him. She got up and walked around camp again

Hikaru slept with Bryne tucked under her neck, her front paws around him in a protective barrier of teeth and claws.

Deric just sighed. "This is it. I give up! No more fighting for life!" He lay on the dirt, covering his face with his paws. I suppose since Im lost my prey, that is a sign of death. I can't keep trying to do what I can't.
