Hikaru heard Fang get up and start walking around from where she lay under a tree. She lifted her head to look at him, giving him a greeting rumble in her chest. "Sleep well?" She asked.

Fang turned and saw her "yeah, I haven't slept in a while, so this one was pretty good" he smiled

"That's good. Sleep is needed by everyone. Especially a Leader who needs the energy to keep up with their pack," Hikaru said and looked at Bryne who was now sleeping, curled up between her front paws. "And growing cubs who need it to keep themselves alive," She said with a gentle smile.

Fang smiled. "Yup." He headed to the kill pile

Hikaru smiled a bit before she rested her head on her paws again. She was thankful that she had finally gotten to somewhere she could relax and keep an eye on her baby without fears.

Fang pulled out a leg of tapar and lay down eating it.

Cairo laughed, "We should probably eat the deer before it goes completely cold and horrible!" He laughed and tore off a leg, he took a step back, and sat eating it, giving Sabora room to eat.

Sabora gave him a gentle lick on the head before she nodded in agreement, tearing off a chunk of meat and sitting down to eat. She still purred lightly, her fur bristled with happiness all around her.

Hikaru lay still for a few more moments before she carefully stood up, so as not to wake Bryne. She went over to the kill pile and took a rabbit, backing up to sit near Bryne to eat.

Fang finished and licked his paws. He took the bones and sprinted out of the territory. Once he was far from the border, he dropped the bones and ran back. He left them out of the territory so if an animal came by and was hungry they could take the bones instead of coming into the territory. They were scraps, anyway

Cairo finished eating the leg and tossed the leg bone into the bush, he took another leg and ate that too, leaving the best bit's for Sabora.
