"ok" he said as they neared the river. "So, Here's the river, and the current isn't very strong so your cub should be ok if he swam." Fang pointed his nose to to the line and said "Follow this to get back, ofcourse."

Hikaru nodded. "Thank you," She muttered through Bryne's fur. The cub hung there, staring at the water before looking at Fang.

Fang started heading back to the kill pile

Hikaru followed him back to the camp and found herself a spot in the shade so Bryne could nurse.

Fang turned and headed to his den. "If you need me just wake me up" he said and closed his eyes, not yet asleep. He felt tired for he didn't sleep all night.

Hikaru nodded and licked Bryne's head as he nursed, kneading at her belly. She rested her head on her paws, closing her eyes to soak in the warmth from the dirt.

Fang fell into a light sleep, dreaming of the mammoth that had been here earier

Sabora looked a little stunned at the question for a moment before she stood up and went around to his side of the deer and sat down, nuzzling her head under his chin against his chest. "Yes. I will be your mate," She said with her eyes closed and a gentle smile on her face.

Hikaru watched Bryne as he darted through the grass in front of her, chasing a big green bug. She flicked her ears and looked around before letting out a low grumble that instantly made Bryne run to her and hide between her front legs. She looked around and started walking again, Bryne making sure to keep close to her, if not between her front paws then right by her side.

Cairo jumped into the air with happiness and yelped. "Thank you!" He sat down again, a huge grin on his face, he nuzzled her and purred softly.

Sabora smiled and watched his jump and shout as she flicked her tail. "You are welcome," She said as she nuzzled back, her eyes closed and a smile on her face as she purred a little as well.
