Autumn sat under a tree. Her paws ached and her stomach burned. She sighed pitifully, trying to remember the last time she ate. Autumn had heard storied about the pack wolves who lived here and decided to find them and live with them so that she knew other wolves had her back. She had been sitting under the tree for hours and no wolf had noticed her. Autumn lifted her tiny head toward the sky and howled a lonely rhythm.

Shadow pricked her ears to the sound of a small howl. Seemed about her age. She dissapeared towards it. Howlin back in response. Wondering where she was and if she was okay.

Autumn's heart skipped a beat at the response. She howled harder, hoping the other wolf would find her soon.

Shadow sighe padding through the snow softly wondering why the wind was blowing so hard all of the sudden. She returned the howl until she stumbled upon the red shewolf. She starred at the pup in front of her. "are you okay?" she asked softly.

Demon smirked as he watched Cadyn try to sneak out of camp. He tackled him playfully and pinned him. His face becoming serious. "you can't go out there, the blizzard is coming. You'll get lost in the storm. Stay here Cadyn." demon begged. "we can't loose two alphas. I'll go out." he whined begging him to stay.

Ava whined feeling the cold get to her wounds and wet body. The snow and wind rushing in at her. She huddled her body together missing her pups and mate.

Tabius sat down on the edge of the den waiting for his pack to come inside and wondering when Shadow will get back. He couldn't cover for her forever.

Autumn stuck her ears up in the suddenly freezing air. "I'm Autumn and fine. Are you in a pack? I would wish to join if you are!" she said calmly, with a hint of excitement.

(She wouldn't. Maybe she could say, "I saw another wolf out there and there's a blizzard approaching. We should find her!" that way, it would seem like she just wanted to help the 'unknown wolf' but coincidentally, it was Ava! )

Cadyn growled at his friend until he got to his feet with a rough lurch to throw the other wolf off of him but sighed as he stood. His eyes were blazing with a strong protective fury and loss but he didn't believe his mate was dead . However that made the longing all the worse but he was obligated to stay and protect both his pups and pack. "Find her Demon" he growled roughly. He knew he must look half-mad by now having seen that strange glint of bloodlust in his reflection a time or two.

Brynna stumbled forward and barked for Shadow. "Shadow where are you?" She tried to follow the scent and had to keep her nose low on the ground lest she lose it.

Marcus snuggled into Dawson and sighed...he loved his father..he did but after his mother had been lost the old wolf had grown more menacing. It was a shame to be scared of ones own Father even though he could see how the coarse male tried and actually DID pull through. However when no one was looking and Cadyn was alone Marcus had seen him pacing at the lake and growling under his breath...he bristled and would snap his teeth at imaginary foes. Marcus personally wouldn't want to be the wolf that was dumb enough to steal Mother away...boy he didn't think there would be much of him left once Dad had sunk his teeth in

Shadow smiled gently. "I'm Shadow, an I'm sure dad won't care if you join the pack." she chuckled as she looked past the pup. Wanting to continue but thought first to get autumn and herself out of the wind. "we should get going." she whined.

Demon sighed. "c'mon cadyn, let's go back to the den for a nap. I'm tired and you are tired. Sleep is the best thing." he said softly trying to guide him towards the den.
