Lupa glanced at Willow as she sat down beside him. "Willow, can I tell you something?" The alpha asked, true concern in his voice. He took a seat and wrapped his thick tail around his paws. "I'm scared. What's happening?" Fear edged his voice. His ears flicked back and forth as he tried to make sense of everything around him. Half the pack seemed to be missing and he felt like there were eyes watching him. Waiting for him to crumble and show weakness. Lupa sat up a little straighter and puffed his chest out; hoping to show the strength and calmness he used to have. The once strong and determined alpha of the Northern Lights pack was slowly diminishing into a weak and dying wolf.

Circa raised her head and surveyed the camp. Nothing was really happening in the Artic Tundra camp. In pure boredom Circa stood and headed out of camp. She figured she may as well do something useful for the pack and hunt. The delta sniffed the air and caught scent of a nearby rabbit. It's puffy tail poked out from a berry bush. With a sly grin Circa crept forward. Every pawstep was thought out and discreet. By the time the rabbit noticed the wolf it was too late. The warm body of the now limp rabbit lay lifeless in Circa's jaws. Happy with her catch she decided she would eat this catch to help build her strength so she could catch more later to feed the pack with.
