Dax smiled back, his neck still throbbing badly. He sighed and closed his eyes again, frowning. "Could you please work on my neck?"He asked quietly, almost a whisper. A large headache was beginning, and it hurt badly. Dax couldn't eat the food that she had dropped, because he couldn't move his neck. He groaned.
He heard a conversation, but he couldn't place who it was. Then it hit him. It was that horrible wolf who had attacked him! A low, guttural growl erupted from Dax's throat. "You shouldn't be here, Jake."
