Melle stared deep into the beta's eyes. "You'll see," she said in a dark, velvety voice. She looked around at the wolves that had gathered in the clearing. That she had gathered. "I bet you're all wondering why I've gathered you all here today. As a few of you may know, our alpha has left us. Lyrabella has deserted us to go on a foolish, pup-minded quest into the unknown. Who knows when she will come back, or if she will return at all? No one does. However, this great, shocking trajedy could bring a new light to out proud pack. And we will not go stumbling blindly through this.. difficult.. time. We will have a new leader," Here she paused, and looked into the eyes of every wolf in the pack. "..and I humbly step up.. to take that role."

Spirit doesn't even think before racing forward. when she gets to melle, "You have no right! I am now alpha! Like it or not!"

How heavy fell the rain that day
From burdened clouds of mournful grey.
The torrent forced them stay their height -
Composure swayed by onerous might.

My skin wrung wet with icy chill
As mud embraced that sodden hill;
But mind of mine had elsewhere gone -
'Twas clouds abandoned I was on.
The driving drops advanced their gears
To camouflage my sneaking tears -
Whence now did swell such floods of pain
To see me melt into this rain…

On equal bearing now were we:
This rain, myself, in harmony.

Melle held her ground, and despite trying hard not to flinch, her left ear twitched invountarily. "Oh, I don't think I like it at all." Melle growled, and lunged for the beta's throught.

Spirit knocks Mele away and lunges at the fighter. She pins Melle to the ground and grabs her scruff, tossing her a good ten feet away

Melle kept her tail high to show that she wasn't giving up, and trooted over to a high rock on the edge of camp where the alpha's usually spoke from. Before Spirit could protest, Melluiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiui

Spirit races up the rock and shoves Melle, almost knocking the fae over

Melle pulled herself to her feet with a desperate look in her eyes. "Wait!" she said, "Maybe we could work something out."

Zepporah
Silver pine pack/Omega/single/Where:Woundering in the woods close to blood rose camp/With:no one

Zepporah padded steadily along. She lifted her head, the smell of blood rose wolves tainted her nose. She shook her head trying to get rid of it, but as she traveled further along the scent got stronger and stronger. Soon she could her growls up ahead. She slowed her pace looking around. She pushed past some brambles which opened up to the blood rose packs camp. She saw three faes fighting, She noticed a brute(Midnight) sitting there just watching. she slowly slunk over to him. "Whats going on." she asked him as she was close enough she was sure he had heard her whisper. She had to be nice, these wolves where unpredictable. She waited for his answer as she watched in horror at the fighting.

Bracken slowed down as the scents of the Bloody Roses wolves grew stronger. "They're close." he growled softly, eyes narrowed to a mere slit as he crouched down, muscles tensing to fight in case any of the enemy pack's wolves attacked. He would show them that the Silver Pines wolves were not pushovers, as they had thought all along.
