Zakk comes back up and grabs hold of Melle's neck,making them roll away from the river. He then grabbed her scruff and shook,not letting go.

Melle was shaken back and forth. "H-h-e-e-y-y!" she shaid shakily. She finally managed to twist away from Zakk and leaped on top of his back, pushing him under water and smothering him.

He got out of the water wth her still on his back. He then rose up on his hind paws and fell back on top of her,putting all his bodyweight on her. He then stood up and circled her with a snarl.

Melle returned the snarl with an evil look in her eyes. Then, she sat down, laughing. "Look at us," she said breathlessly, still recovering from having her wind knoked out by Zakk. "We're acting like pups!" She smiled at the brute.

He shrugged and sat down,licking his side. "Sometimes I miss being a pup." He said to her with a smile.

"I know how you feel," Melle said. "But life's still good. There's prey to catch and battles to win."
