Luther inclined his head towards the town and breathed out slowly through his nose. Both ears flicked periodically as he spoke, "Back in a forgotten alleyway. It's not as nice as the park, but the people leave me alone. I wouldn't want to reside here. Too many children."
Too many humans and dogs. The humans panicked whenever they saw a scruffy stray like him, and he didn't like having to deal with that day-by-day. Not only that, the catchers tended to patrol the park more regularly than they did the back alleys. In the town, he didn't have to put up with as much competition for food with other dogs, either, which was quite nice.
