Jace shook his head, watching them eat the grass afterwards. He looked over at Rose as she spoke. Jace smiled a little, then bent his neck down and picked some grass up in his mouth. He wasn't used to this, so it felt weird. Jace made a face, then chewed the grass before swallowing. He looked down, it wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. He lowered his neck again, picking up more grass this time. He ate quickly, his stomach began growling quietly.

Nightmare flicked his tail slightly, feeling it hit his leg. He took a deep breath, filling his lungs with air. His ear flicked backwards as he heard something. Nightmare raised his head and looked back over his shoulder, wondering who might be near him. He raised his head a little higher, sniffing the air. He caught a scent, another horse.

Her ears flicked back and forth as she listened to her surroundings. She raised her head, chewing on grass. Dalis started walking, flicking her tail, she looked around, wondering if any other horses were around. She whinnied lightly. Dalis pricked her ears forward, listening for a response. She whinnied again, a little louder this time, hearing her whinny echo throughout the forest.

Gingerly, Feather moved towards Ronan, captivated by curiousity. Her nostrils flared, and she snorted at the scent of blood, but the smell didn't deter her. If anything, it made her curiousity build. This horse in front of her was hurt. Though she knew nothing about wounds, she was hoping to help. When Ronan whinnied back to her, she paused, her body stopping with her left hoof in the air. A stallion. Her thoughts backpedaled, and she wondered if she should listen to her instincts and canter away. She shook that thought away. Running away would result in injury, with the slick and muddied ground beneath her. Pressing onwards, her dark brown eyes fought to make out the figure of the stallion before her. Unspeaking, she appeared in his vision, showing her soaking blue fur to him.

Pax's smile widened when he heard the mare's whinny. He opened his mouth, raised his head and sent back a reply. He trotted towards the mare, his ears slanted forwards, and his eyes bright.

Dawn froze in place, her head swinging around as she heard a movement. The stallion she had scented was closer than she had thought. Mild fear flashed through her body as she began to move again, unknowingly right towards Nightmare. Dawn was less skiddish of stallions than most mares, but knew to be careful around them. Some could be rough, mean, and controlling when they saw another horse.

Nightmare looked at the forest behind him, scanning it carefully. He saw a figure not too far away. Nightmare watched the bay horse come closer, realizing it was a mare. He studied her for a moment before giving a soft whinny. Nightmare turned his head, looking back down at the ground in front of him.

Dalis pricked her ears forward, surprised that someone had answered. She gave another light whinny, trotting out into a meadow, where she was completely visible. She stood there, looking around. Dalis's ears fell back a little as she began to think that maybe this other horse might hurt her.

To Ronan the mare seemed like a mirage, the equine's silhouette wavering and moving with the rain until she eventually came into view. The chestnut stallion snorted bringing his head higher so he could get a better view through the rain, throwing his soaked mane with the jerky motion. She was a bluish color that seemed to perfectly blend into the groggy weather, though he also suspected the fact that her coat had rain falling down her sides in rivulets could also help with that. "You really should get out of the rain." The stallion called above the sound of the weather, his tail lashing when a roll of thunder clapped in a way that made the whole sky shake. The sky seemed to be making up for the lost time, during the past week the rain had been relatively mild for Ireland, only showering for an hour then retreating back to reveal the sun. Ronan looked over the mare, she was clearly one of his own stocky blood and a bit of a looker if he might say so. "It's dangerous to be out in a storm." The chestnut added, shifting his weight against his injured leg to make room against the protected tree trunk. If he had felt the same pain as he had earlier, he didn't show it, and simply swallowed the pained whimper for the sake of courtesy.

{{I saw but I'm not sure how to respond to it, as Ronan had already limped all the way to an oak down the hill. He couldn't see Feather who was not even 50 feet away so I don't think he'll be able to see Angel. Do you want to have her come down to the tree also so they can interact?}}

Brooke stood under a maple tree as the storm raged she quivered knowing trees were not safe to be by with the lighting but at least the rain wasn't as hard. Her ears were perked as she remembered that lighting was how her youngest sister died. Brook felt and tear drop but she kept the rest in and lay down and the muddy grass. Right now she wished she and her brother hadn't splitten up. He knew what she was feeling all the time and was always there to confert her but not know.

Feather paused a few moments, her large brown eyes blinking rain out of them as she stared at Ronan. She studied the liver chesnut stallion as he spoke. Taking his words as an invitation to come under the tree as well, she delicately picked her under the large oak. She hoped that this stallion was okay with her sharing the shelter. She backed away from Ronan, to as far away as possible with still being protected by the tree's enormous branches. Not only did she want to give him space, she was still fearful. Even if Ronan was injured. She shook out her mane, water droplets spraying in every direction as she did so. Feeling much better, she listened intently to the stallion's words. "It's dangerous to invite another horse into your shelter when you're injured." She pointed out. Feather's voice was soft and gentle, full of quite a few emotions. Concern, fear, and anxiety were three of those tones that she held in her words. Her voice was almost drowned out in the roar of pouring rain, but it was still audible. "Thank you." She murmured, hoping he knew what she meant. He was generously sharing shelter in this horrible storm.

Dawn's ears shot up when the black stallion whinnied, and she felt obligated to reply back. Not that she was really that thrilled to be with another male. Bobbing her head up and down, she whinnied back. Shaking her head, her black mane cascaded around her neck before settling back down into it's place.

Paxaro returned Dalis' second whinny and slowed his pace once the mare became visable. He studied her for a few seconds, down hill from her. Deciding that it was best to talk to her from here, to tell her that he was no threat, he stopped. "Hey there!" He called, his head up, ears slanted forwards, and his eyes bright.
