Shela didn't know why but she sounded angry then she saw her ears and went back even though she was hungry

Shanti padded back to her den to eat and she pawed at her missing ear depressed.

Shela stood in the den half asleep half hoping the pain would go away already then barked when a fly landed on it

Marcus shifted his weight where he sat guard for Sheka, he narrowed his eyes after Shanti.

Shanti growled at him,"what havent seen a wolf missing an ear?" and padded off to the lake depressed and a bit angry.

Shela looked up at Marcus"do you think i can have food"she asked

"No, just haven't seen one selfish enough to take it out on others" Marcus snarled back. "Sure, did you want to go or shall I get some for you?" he asked, turning to Shela.
