(sure) Delilah grinned as she nodded "Yes" she replighed smoothly "I'd be Delighted." she sat down "But I'm not very hungry so I'll skip the Delicious looking meal if you don't mind."
Mazie laughed, and watched Sirgil pounce on the fish, he was so cocky and funny. She sat down in the cool sand listening to Delilah while watching the fish wiggle it's little heart out. Mazia then thought quickly, “Hold it down by it's head and tail so it can't fin you,” her younger younger brother was recently healing from being finned in the mouth by improperly holding it. Even though he went through a lot, he couldn't stop talking bragging about his catch, after his mouth had healed of course.
" Alright, your loss Delilah." He held the fish by it's head and tail as Maize suggested and to his relief, it was easier to handle. The proper ways of how to handle food usually slipped passed him during his excitement. "So shall you do the honors?" He pushed the fish towards Maize, allowing her first bite. He flopped down, tired from his hunt.
Mazie stole a glance at Delilah, then she turned back to Sirgil and smiled, “Sure.” She held down the fish and took a medium sized bite. She was surprised by the burst of juicy flavor. She passed it back to Sirgil, chewed her portion thoroughly, and the swallowed. “It's great, I haven't had fish like that for a couple of months now.”
Sirgil didn't waste time digging into her portion after she passed the fish back. He swallowed a mouthful before responding. "Yea, they aren't easy to catch. It's been a while for me too." He yawned before glancing back at Delilah. " Are you sure you don't want any?" Of course the fish was almost a skeleton by now, but she could easily get a couple of bites from it.
Delilah glanced at the fish longingly "It does look good but you both must be hungry and I just ate I'm sure some one will catch another sooner or later." she looked at the ground smiling "Besides we have Sirgil, he'll catch another eventually." she teased "Anyways lets go for a walk along the beach it'll be fun"
