Mazie smiled, a real smile. She was glad she had she still had Rascal, it was so much more than having no one. She was also glad to have friends. A flash of understanding and happiness appeared in her pretty blue-green eyes. "Yeah, it is." She turned away from him and walked inside of the hut and smiled to see Rascal awake. He looked up at her with tired eyes, but they suddenly brightened and his tail wagged. "Morning Mazie!" He yipped.
