Chess followed Lilah into the hut. He then noticed something. Out of the many eyes he had seen on this island her eyes were among the prettiest. Her walked aroundin circle for a bit before laying down on the dusty ground, near but a good distance away from Lilah. He stuggled a bit to get comfortable, he soon realized that it wasn't going to be perfect. He then closed his, falling asleep.

Lilah woke up and realized sometime during the night she must have moved closer to Chess and her eyes widened and she froze for a minute wondering if he had noticed seeing he was still asleep she sighed with relief and stood up shaking off her fur as she walked towards the entrance of the hut and sat down watching the dark sky melt into a soft pink and a bright orange and decided that the beach would have a better view so she stood up and walked to the beach and sat down on the edge of the water so that it just reached her front paws. The sky now looked like a melting pot of colors and she sighed in awe of the beautiful sight.

Chess was awoken by the soft sound of rustling. He opened an eye just in time to see Lilah leave the den. The scent of her strongly lingered near him. He raised an eyebrow, sometime during the night she must have slept or least lied down next to him. He just shrugged it off and stood up and yawned.

He looked out of the entrance from where he was and saw Lilah near the water's edge looking at the beautiful sunrise. He pushed out his paws out before him with his hind end still standing, and pulled back in a nice long stretch. Chess padded outside of the hut and shook the dust from his fur.

Lilah heard Chess behind her and her smile widened Chess was a good friend and she couldn't wait to get started on their project together. She watched as the sun climbed slowly out of the horizon and yawned before turning to Chess. "Are you ready" she asked finally standing and shaking the sand out of her fur before trotting over to him.

Chess nodded looking into her eyes but not saying anything at the moment. “Definitely,” he added after a little bit. In the mornings Chess was usually slow and didn't think very fast. He usually needed something to get him feeling active, like goung for a run than eating. He then suggested, “We should go see what we can find to eat.” Chess was thinking maybe they could stalk a deer, that would surely get him into thinking straight.

Lilah smiled oblivious to what Chess thought "Lets go fishing!" she smiled happily her eyes brightening even more if that was even possible Delilah loved the mornings and the evenings they were her favorite times of day probably because of the sunrise and sunset. She turned heading into the water then looking at Chess over her shoulder.

Chess yawned again, but nodded smiling. He bounded after her, with a little extra energy to start waking himself up. He was physically awake but mentally asleep. He noticed that her eyes were quite bright, he was glad she was happy about all of this. Chess honestly had no idea where the idea hd come from. It had just suddenly popped into his mind, he was glad it had or else he most likely wouldn't still be with Lilah.

Lilah giggled slightly and used her tail to splash him with water she could tell he was obviously still tired but the cool water should help. she ran in deeper cautiously checking around them in the clear water making sure no sharks were around and seemed to be rethinking her idea about fishing when a big fish swam right towards her she lunged into the water after it catching it in her jaws and then looked up at chess smiling the fish was a surprisingly easy catch they were usually harder to get.

Chess smiled as he watched her, it was his turn to show off now. Even though he was drowsy he had a very big appetite this morning, which made him feel lively enough to catch one. He kept out a sharp eye, in case for any shark, or other dangerous water animals, and then slowly crept up on a small school of fish. He waited until the exact moment and plunged his muzzle in snapping his jaws at the fish. He grabbed one sharply and raised it above the water and broke it's spine, and went for another, not doing so well on this one. Though he managed to grab it and kill it.

Lilah watched him and laughed her laugh soft and sweet "Oh my such a talented fisher." she said playfully her tail wagging "Would it be okay with you if we went for a run after we ate and before we started our project?" she asked tilting her head waiting for her reply.
