Rain looked at her "Its ok! The worst he could do is look at you" She joked, licking his cheek.

Jessie thought for a moment, but quickly changed her tone when she sensed these dogs weren't going to hurt. She stood up, but kept her ears back. Her stomach was round, but Jessie quickly forgot about that for a moment. "I-I'm Jessie. Who are oyu guys?"

Chase smiled. "I'm Chase, and this is my mate Rain. It's nice to meet you."

Jessie cringed at the word "mate", but a puppy's kick relaxed her. "So sorry about that."

Rain smiled "Are you ok?" She asked.

"Oh, it's fine. I was forced to have a mate when I was one, so I'm having puppies before I'm ready. I'm really scared that I won't have anybody to help me, and I'll get caught again and...." Jessie cut off her sentence, as she did not want to think about it.

"Well, maybe you could stay with us until you find that special someone. Rain is the healer here, so she knows how to keep you from getting hurt." Chase smiled at Jessie.

Rain smiled, nodding, "I am expecting too" She said, nuzzling Jess is a friendly dinner.

Chase led Jessie to his den. "Ask Rain about that. She won't tell me" he teased, sitting down on his pelts.
