Pack life here is great. You seem to think it's cliche that your pack's origin is a mountain known as Wolf Mountain. You love how the snow falls in place, the water is nice and clear and the prey is always bountiful. The bears hardly bother you,but coyotes and others are always there. Eagles peck at your prey and coyotes are always trying to snag pieces. It's a known fact here that 'Paradise comes with a price.' But,you don't care a quarter of the time, this, after-all is a dream. Weather you live in it or not,it comes with a price. Do you live in your dreams too? Or do you push them aside?
You stand on the hill outside your pack's fall-winter den site. The herds aren't far and they seem plump. Calves are mostly grown as the buffalo and deer move to the grassiest areas. Smirking,you sit on the hill-embracing the Seasonal landscape that you'll be leaving soon enough. Time flies as only yesterday feels like the last day of summer. But you have been in this spot for almost a month now. Howls faintly bound from the mountains, even though you're out in the valley, doesn't mean anything. Rams fill the mountains but you should be glad you aren't there now. Leaves fall as little snowstorms blanket the land from time to time. You love your dreamland.
