He watched as Sneaker was cooled down. He panted and looked at the water with pleading eyes. God it was hot...

Blaze stood up, limping past her.

She followed him silently and gave a small whine.

He thought about going over and interrupting the water hose.... But should he? Sneaker would be ticked.. Hmm, well he'd have a reason to talk to her, right?

Blaze flattened his ears at her whine. He took another step then collapsed, whining.

She barked, scared. "Blaze! What happened to you?"

She sighed at all the barking and whining and rolled over in bed.

Blaze whimpered and passed out.

She panicked and started barking madly.

She went outside to scold Kira and saw Blaze. She carried him inside and hosed him off with cool water, thinking he had a heat stroke.

Blaze woke as he was being carried. The cold water felt like steaming hot daggers. He yelped, trying to scramble away.

She held Blaze in place, but turned the water off. Aubre carried him to the exam table and dried him off.
