Blaze kept on his side, eyes closed.
His Promise wrote:[ x ] One night a man dreamed
He was walking on the beach with the lord,
While scenes from his life flashed across the sky,
He noticed two sets of footprints --
One belonging to him, the other to the Lord.ღParvaneh, 'Butterfly' In Persian wrote:

He noticed that many times along the path
There was only one set of prints --
Always at his life's lowest, saddest times.ღ

She pulled the lever that opened the gates, sounding the buzzer.

She didn't wait for the buzzer. Sam pushed off the dirt track and sped straight, curving slightly. She sprinted the distance, her black tail horizontal behind her. As she crossed the finish, another buzzer sounded and Sam slowed, a little panting.

She gave a round of applause of Sam and stroked her as she came trotting back. "Good girl," She said and gave her a bite sized meaty treat.

She licked her lips from the treat and smiled. God how she loved running! She glanced over at Blaze, who appeared to be asleep. Sam growled to herself. If he wanted to be a race dog, he needed to pay attention. ((HINT HINT))
