She frowned. "Poor thing, lemme look." She held out her hand and grabbed his paw. It wasnt broken, just twisted. "Just walk it off, you'll be ok." She smiled and patted his head.

Blaze dropped the ball at her feet, ready to run after the ball again.

She threw the ball further this time, watching him.

Blaze forgot about his leg as he tore after it. Again, dirt flew as he went after the bright red sphere. He saw it thump to the ground and fly into his mouth a moment later. He turned on a dime, throwing up more dirt as he ran back towards the human.

Night trotted through the traffic

The dog's speed was incredible. She smiled. "You're fast huh?" She grabbed the ball and tossed it again.

Blaze panted heavily as he turned and went after the ball again. He slowled to a walk as it dropped infront of him. He padded up to it and slowly padded back to her. He dropped it at her feet and lay down, panting.

Night trotted to the house that used to be her's

"So," she said her boots still clinking on the ciment. "Excited for the race?"

Night ran back to the race track, he skinny legs flying
