Sterling
The young lioness woke up to the savannah sun streaming into the main den. She looked around at all the lions sleeping. Her mind strayed to the other pride. A scowl swept across her face. Why had they disobeyed the previous leader. She got to her paws and walked out of the den, her white coat gleaming.

Senkiri
The alpha lioness fluttered her eyes open. They had a fierce and feminine look to them. She too got to her paws and walked out. Her tail flicked in a silent greeting to Sterling before she padded down the rock and over to the near by stream. She was happy it was so close.

Hatari
Hatari sat outside the den. His eyes were shaded, dark and intense though the colour blue kept it alert and, alive. He thought about his next attack. He wanted to fight back with full force but not to cause too much damage to his pride because they had no healer, only a bunch of hunters and a few well trained warriors. He stood and turned around towards the den enterance. He roared in a vicious way"Get up!. Get us something to eat!"he aimed his sudden outrage at the huntresses. He had little interest in the males. As long as they stayed out of his way.

Vita
The male lion heard a roar and when he heard the word eat his eyes snapped open. He lay in the corner of the den and lazily got to his paws. Even though Hatari's roar was for the females he felt pretty sure that it was also a small message for everyone to wake up.

Rain slowly lifted her head, standing up fast after hearing him roar as she screeched. She growled slightly, but looked around waiting for the others to wake up. She sighed and sat down, still waiting for the others. She could not hunt alone and needed the other hunters to be up for her to catch anything and she know it.

Darko yawned and looked up, only seeing a few lioness awake for the time. He yawned again and shook out his mane, before standing up and screeching. "Morning." he said turning to the lead lioness, who he could see was now awake as well as a few others.
