Bell hopped slowly, her ears perked alertly.

Vaughn heard a steady thump outside and stretched, uncurling. He turned and poked his head out, seeing the familiar doe. "Hey, Bell, right?" He chittered a greeting.

" As always." Bell said, looking back.

Vaughn sniffed the air warily, then slid out. He nibbled the grass. "I'm going to the clearing for a mate. See you." With a flick of his ears he chittered his goodbye and bounced leisurely to the clearing, the most popular place to find a mate. It had a pool in the middle, and it was sandy, leaving a meter or two for the rabbits to roam, from the edge of the pool to where the tall grass began to grow.

Bell just grunted softly, then kept going. Why be tied down? I'm much happier being free. She thought of saying, but held her tongue. She looked for some clovers or grass to munch on.

He smiled at Basil and hopped off towards the cliffs. Nearby, they stopped where a small mudslide had occurred. He pawed around it with his feet and sniffed it. "Doesn't look unstable now." He noticed some lupine growing from some rocks up to his right. "Hold on a second." He hopped up and picked a few of the delicate purple flowers. He made his way down carefully, the flowers grasped in his teeth. "Here." He dropped them in front of Basil gently and breathed deeply, inhaling her sweet scent. He knew if he took her as his mate, she would become Alpha of the warren. My alpha. He smiled, liking how that sounded.

Orion

He smiled at Snow. "A fitting name." He crept forward shyly. "They didn't hurt you, did they?" The worry was clear in his face, he hardly knew the doe but couldn't help but feel a warm tingle spreading though his body when he looked at her. He wondered if she belonged to a warren, or had a mate. He hoped she didn't. But I hardly know her.

"Umm.. no, I've ran from dogs before. I'm fine, just shaken"

Vaughn easily reached the clearing, only to be put out when he found it was empty. With a sigh he padded to the water and began lapping at it with a oddly dark tongue. He sniffed the air several times, aware that he was exposed.
