He continued sprinting but relaxed slightly when he heard the doe following. He soon reached the cliffs where he hopped from boulder to boulder until he was hunched over, panting on a small ledge. "Here, They cant reach us." He had to yell over the sound of water rushing over the rocks nearby, the mist making the rocks slippery. He hoped the doe had sharp enough claws and steady enough footing to follow him.

She watched fondly as Teka drifted off once more. She curled up around her and wiggled so Teka was nestled next to her warm tummy.

i waked up an practiced hopping again i was a lil bit faster.. this time noticable.. so as Calliope slept i went hopin around..i hoped around alot.. even to the edge of a cliff "ACK!"

He smiled at her, impressed with the ease at which she leaped up beside him. He walked along the ledge until he slipped into a narrow opening behind a rock. There, he was slightly embarrassed by the messiness of his den and hurriedly shoved herbs, leaves and sticks aside to tidy up. "As you can see, I'm not used to having company." HE smiled sheepishly at her.

Calliope

She woke with a start when she heard a squeal from far off. She looked up and saw Teka tottering on a large boulder. She smirked and hopped over to where Teka was. "Watch out little one!" She hopped up beside Teka and looked over where the "cliff" protruded above a pit of grass. She nudged the kit and jumped down into the grass, where she rolled around, showing there was no immediate danger.

Orion now felt more relaxed. he looked over at the doe, and his gaze wandered over her pretty white coat. Suddenly selfconcious, he began to groom himself, untangling the knots in his fur. "I'm Orion, by the way." He nodded towards her.
