{Taavi actually left the River Pack camp because he scented Lusa, you said she didn't know where she was so I just kinda stuck him in there. I can edit though; so Taavi would be free in the River territory.}

Taavi frowned, watching as the young fae completely ignored him. Perhaps she hadn't heard him... How could she just be wandering around the territory, and not paying close attention to all sights, sounds, and smells? She must be young, that could be the only reason. "Hey." He called again, this time a little louder. He made his way towards her quickly, but surprisingly quietly. "What are you doing?" He repeated, his eyes light with amusement. Contrary to popular belief, Taavi didn't believe that any new wolf on the territory was an enemy. Besides, it wasn't even his territory; so it really didn't matter to him at all.

Lusa jumped slightly, startled. She turned towards the brute, lowering her head in respect. She backed up from him a little, not knowing if he would attack or not. He looked to have a kind look on his face and in his eyes, but she knew not to take any chances. "Sorry, I.." She said, slightly staggering. "I was just looking for a pack.." She said, somewhat fast. The pretty young fae was lowered slightly, not wanting to look like a threat to the brute, even though she knew she probably looked stupid. She stood upright, thinking. Her light blue eyes were bright, yet had an uncertain look in them as she looked at the larger brute. She flicked her ears, and tried to look less young and unknowing. She backed up a bit more, getting ready to retreat if he made her.

Just when Aspen had made up her mind, she stopped and was unsure again. It wasn't like she did not know where the mountians were, but she did not know if she wanted to go there. She had spent her last few days along the river and so far no run-ins with others. Maybe it would be better to stay a little while. It was killing her to be unsure. Growling, she turned and started padding back down along the river.

Taavi choked back a small chuckle, and slowly lowered himself onto the ground in front of her. He felt a little bad, he must have intimidated her a little; she was obviously young, and not to mention he was larger than her... He stretched himself out, and once he was comfortable he looked her in the eye and gave her a look that almost said 'Don't try to kid me.' His tail flicked back and forth restlessly; he wanted to go for a run... "Well you're in luck." He said, keeping his tone low. "What's your name?" He tilted his head as he asked her, his ear once again twitching as snow hit it. He wanted to frown, because he hated snow on his ears, but instead he just flattened that one ear. He knew he had to look ridiculously stupid with one ear up and the other down.

Lusa watched him, somewhat amused. A small smirk came across her face, but quickly disappeared. "Lusa." She introduced herself, and watched him. "And what might your name be?" She asked, grunting as she looked down at her paws. She began to lift each one again, giving them all time to thaw out before being placed in the snow again. She hated snow. She looked back up at the brute, her icy blue eyes bright, with a mixed expression on her face. She didn't know what to make of the male that stood.. laid, rather, infront of her. He was different than the brutes she's encountered, appearing to be calmer, and more amusing. her tail remained low, the tip touching the snow slightly.

"Taavi." He replied, rolling his eyes at his own name. "Yeah I know. It's ridiculous. My father was an idiot." He sighed with so dramatically that he was having a hard time not laughing himself. He frowned though, watching her lift her paws and he sighed again, quickly rising to his feet. "You know, if your paws are cold, you can just move the snow." He said with a shrug of one shoulder, swiping his paw across the ground. The snow moved with his paw, revealing a patch of frozen grass below it. It would still be cold, but it was better than the snow. He laid down again, in almost exactly the same spot and tilted his head again. "You're not from around here, are you?"

Lusa listened. "I like your name. It's different." She said, a kind look on her face. She watched as he moved the snow, revealing a patch of dead grass. "I never thought of that." She admitted, and began to slight dig through the snow she was standing on, and pushed it over, exposing the dead grass below. She placed her paws on the cleared places. The ground was still rather frozen and cold, but it was better than standing in the snow. She shook her pelt slightly, then shook her head, sitting down. "No." She said, sniffing the air. She looked to the sun for direction. "I'm from a pack east of here." She said, continuing to look in the direction of the sun for a moment longer, then looked back at Taavi.

"You're the first to like it." Taavi whispered, standing quickly and shaking the fallen snow off his pelt. He stretched lightly and stood beside her, not looking nearly as proud as he used to. He had never heard anyone say they liked his name, usually they just asked who the hell had named him that. It was refreshing to say the least, but her saying that was making him feel a little weird. He didn't take compliments, even tiny ones, very well. "Well. I'm not going to ask why you left that pack, but if you want to tell me I'm all ears." He winked, and slowly turned in the opposite direction he came from. "Fancy going for a run? It'll warm you up." He ignored the fact that he had just said fancy, and watched her intently.
