"Immortal. Do I really need to spell it?"

Everywhere I turn, I hurt someone.
But there's nothing I can say
to change the things I've done.
I'd do anything within my power,
I'd give everything I've got.
But the path I seek is hidden
from me now.
The good thing about the issue during the assembly was that it had nothing, or at least not that much, to do with the Mountain Pack. It would have made things much for complicated for herself, the Beta, and Skye, the Alphess, to deal with. Immortal hoped in her heart that there were no members in this pack that would disobey or disrespect the high-in-command. If it was so, they had to be strained out of the pack or taught a lesson. Those kinds of wolves only made for weak links and uproars against the high-in-command, and that could lead to a terrible situation. One that all the packs wished to avoid - murder of the Alpha.
Immortal's head softly shook to relieve her mind of the rough thoughts as her cerulean gaze fixed back on Russet's. Before either of them could change course their flanks brushed against one another, ruffling the two completely different-toned pelts. Although they were different, something seemed to be complete as the multi-brown hues mixed with the snow white and gray. Her gray-tipped ears perked as a smile immediately formed on her muzzle, oddly enough loving how close they were together. Immy's head lowered just enough as she tilted it to the side, giving Russet's neck a short and gentle nuzzle. "Nope," She breathed out calmly, now returning to a better state like before the meeting.
Not even moments later the camp was drifting back into full view and the arguments of the assembly were left behind them. Time would tell if the other packs would affect them. If Skye needed her or her help, Immortal would be there. She would do just about anything for the pack.
"Kenai, the tough pup!"

So tell 'em all I'm on my way,
New friends and new places to see.
And to sleep under the stars who could ask for more,
With the moon keeping watch over me.
Kenai lifted his head, his cream-toned ears perking in a sign of alert as he heard the many howls. What was going on? Why were so many wolves suddenly howling? A gathering? So, there must be plenty of wolves around then, he assumed. He was a bit slow, which was normal for a few-month-old pup. Suddenly he was carried, dropped and carried again by the brute named Conan. When he saw his chance, the little pup wriggled his way out of the male's jaws. As his paws touched the ground, Kenai quickly shifted behind Conan in hiding, as his soft eyes followed the circular line of wolves in the clearing. Who were all of these strangers? Were they dangerous? His ears quickly fell back as he listened to the chatter.
-- After the assembly --
Ears pinned back and eyes focussed around him, Kenai looked for someone to trail after. He padded towards Immortal then glanced off to the side, smelling the others - Conan, Skye and a few other familiar scents. He bounded towards their scents and towards the scent of their pack in general, glancing back towards Immortal and the male near her in case he might get lost. Immortal seemed to be moving back towards camp as well so he would stay near the two of them.
