The male crept forward 'Don't move, you will die.' she hissed, her long legs crouching.
'Oh.. sweatheart, don't do this, not again.'
She snarled at him 'I'm not your sweatheart. I wish I didn't know you, or that you were never born.'
'Then you'd never be born.' he said, a smirk appearing across his face.
'Less talking, more fighting, dad.' she growled, leaping at him and getting onto his back. Her dad swiped but he missed. He tried to shake her off but could not because her claws had dug into his back. He stood on his hind legs only for a moment so he could push her back against a tree.
'Oof.' she grumbled, her back starting to bleed and she slid down the tree. Her father stepped back and was about to lunge at her neck when she gave him a hard kick to his belly with her back legs. Her father flung back and landed in the lake near them. 'Crap, he can't swim.' she ran toward him, but it was too late he had gone under, he had sunken so fast.
'DAD!' she screamed, leaning her head over the side to look in the river for him. 'Dad.' she whispered to herself, hanging her head over the lake.
She had made a burial near the lake and has lived there ever since.
Echo had to shake herself from the awful memory of how she had killed her father, and then glanced up at Gage. "I drowned him. I regret it, but I am glad he is not here any more." she said. "Well you are doing good now, your the healer." she said, leaning toward him and touching her nose to his again.
