{ My apologies for the semi-late response. I'll be reposting Immortal's previous post as well as an update to what's going on, since the assembly is over. }

"Immortal. Do I really need to spell it?"
{ Status ; Mountain Pack Betess
{ Relationship ; Uhh..
{ Location ; Heading back to camp
{ Emotion ; Confused / kind of happy
{ Plans ; Take Russet to the dens
Everywhere I turn, I hurt someone.
But there's nothing I can say
to change the things I've done.
I'd do anything within my power,
I'd give everything I've got.
But the path I seek is hidden
from me now.
Immortal suddenly slid to a rather fast stop, snow and mud kicking up and flying in front of her. Her head jerked to the side and ears perked, as she heard not only Skye's howl but that of the Forest Alpha, then the Stream Alpha, then the river Alpha. Shoot, the gathering! She thought and shifted on her paws, turning around to glance back at Russet. For a moment she paused, her cerulean eyes focussed on his as she admired the honey hue. Finally she shook herself out of the daze and gave a gentle whine, "The packs are gathering, we have to go before we're late."
She knew it was more important than anything else right now, and she didn't plan on being the awkward-late wolf. The demoness slid past the gentle brute, giving his shoulder a soft nudge before she continued down to the slope. Her paws stepped here and there as she loped, doing her best not to trip over the small stones, bushes and clumps of snow. The frost was dangerous if they slipped, but she was doing her best to be careful. Immy leapt down from a boulder, her head dipping and rising again as she hit the ground and continued her run. Occasionally she would glance back at Russet to make sure he was following. When she finally reached the clearing she could see the multitude of wolves already gathered, and she quickly slunk behind her Alphess. She knew she would have to give an apology later, but she hadn't been too late. Finally she shifted her gaze back over her shoulder, worried that Russet might either have not followed her correctly or would feel out of place. Her mind was furiously racing on different thoughts.
-- After the assembly --
So much had happened in the assembly in so little time that it was almost difficult to process. Not only did that one wolf step out of line but the alphas and alphesses had assessed their pack's situation, checking up on the others. Although it was nice to have that assembly, it was ironic how much some of us didn't get along. Immortal sighed softly and shifted her cerulean gaze towards Russet, giving him a comforting smile. She wasn't sure how confusing that was for him or if he was sure he even wanted to be in the Mountain Pack. She hoped so. Immy stepped quietly passed the larger brute and towards the safety of their pack's camp, remembering how Russet had said that he wanted to pick out a den.
"Kenai, the tough pup!"
{ Status ; Mountain Pack Pup
{ Relationship ; None
{ Location ; Heading to camp
{ Emotion ; Anxious / Excited
{ Plans ; Sleep or play
So tell 'em all I'm on my way,
New friends and new places to see.
And to sleep under the stars who could ask for more,
With the moon keeping watch over me.
Kenai lifted his head, his cream-toned ears perking in a sign of alert as he heard the many howls. What was going on? Why were so many wolves suddenly howling? A gathering? So, there must be plenty of wolves around then, he assumed. He was a bit slow, which was normal for a few-month-old pup. Suddenly he was carried, dropped and carried again by the brute named Conan. When he saw his chance, the little pup wriggled his way out of the male's jaws. As his paws touched the ground, Kenai quickly shifted behind Conan in hiding, as his soft eyes followed the circular line of wolves in the clearing. Who were all of these strangers? Were they dangerous? His ears quickly fell back as he listened to the chatter.
-- After the assembly --
Ears pinned back and eyes focussed around him, Kenai looked for someone to trail after. He padded towards Immortal then glanced off to the side, smelling the others - Conan, Skye and a few other familiar scents. He bounded towards their scents and towards the scent of their pack in general, glancing back towards Immortal and the male near her in case he might get lost. Immortal seemed to be moving back towards camp as well so he would stay near the two of them.

She thought about what he had told her and shivered at the thought of telling him about her past, one thought came to her mind, which was why she wouldn't dare speak of her past to him. His past might possibly have been worse but the fae was not proud of what she had done in her past. She hoped that Shade returned her feelings for him, but was unsure. She was kind of hoping he would drop a hint if he liked her or not. She smiled when he came up beside her. "Slow much?" she teased. "Hmmm.. How about we go to the mountain side?" she asked before she started leading him there. The female felt weak since she loved Shade, but she couldn't help it, she mentally slapped herself and growled silently at herself. She really didn't want to find out what those consequences were, and she also didn't want to like him if he didn't like her back. Besides he had promised to leave her alone if she showed him around for two days, then he'd be out of her life forever, although she didn't know if she really wanted that.. But maybe this whole crush thing would just pass, then again maybe it wouldn't. She started to lead the male up to the mountain side that was part of their pack's territory. She padded up the rough and rocky terrain and stopped climbing once she got a good view of most of the mountains. "These few mountains are part of our pack territory." she said. "See that tree line?" she asked. "That's where our part of the mountains ends." she said. "Oh, and watch out for mountain lions and cougars up here." she said.
